To decorate:
wooden craft sticks
Prepared frosting
Sprinkles
 

Directions:

1. Grease a 11 x 15 - inch baking sheet and line with parchment paper.
2. Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. 
3. Add the marshmallows and stir until smooth.
4. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the rice cereal until it's evenly coated. 
5. Turn out the marshmallow mixture onto the sheet.  Spray hands with non-stick spray and press the mixture, spreading it evenly.
6. Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut cereal mixture into heart shapes.
7. Push a wooden stick into the bottom of each heart.
8. Decorate with icing and candy as desired, using prepared frosting to hold the candy in place.
