"Kool-Aid" Play-dough

This playdough is soft, smooth and scented.  It is not meant for eating, but doesn't cause any harm if swallowed.

Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup salt
1 package unsweetened flavored "Kool-Aid"
1 cup boiling water 
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt and "Kool-Aid" mix.

  2. Heat the water in the microwave until boiling (about 1 minute).

  3. Add the oil to the water.

  4. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour the liquids in.

  5. Mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon, then turn onto a cutting board  ( it may stain your counter) and
    knead thoroughly
    until soft and smooth.

  6. Stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator, this play-dough will last for several months.
